CREE had new technology to promote targeted at engineers competing in the Google Small Box Challenge. This is an open competition to build much smaller power inverters with a one million dollar prize! CREE was confident they could provide the latest solutions for their designs but the best way to disseminate this information was a webinar.

Webinars can be notoriously stilted and boring. The providers are constantly worried about tech problems and access.
