Duke Raleigh Hospital spent millions building a new wing to house a 3D surgical biplane.

CT and bi-plane angiography provides new, minimally-invasive options for treating stroke, aneurysms, and other vascular diseases in the brain. With this system, neurointerventional radiology procedures can be performed that would previously require surgery and an extended hospital stay or would have been unavailable to certain patients.

To showcase this amazing technology and new capabilities Pivot Point Media built an online 3D rendition of the operating room. There are information touch points explaining different features of the biplane. We produced the video interview of the chief vascular surgeon that is embedded within one of the biplane’s monitor screens providing a full explanation of the benefits of angiography.

Finally we also shot the magazine cover for a local publication that featured this new hi tech addition for the hospital. The launch was a huge success.
