Guilford Fitts is the founder of Pivot Point Media and leads the company’s marketing and creative project management. Gil has been the Executive Producer for commercials for NC Education Lottery, managed multi year, multi million health disparity campaigns and is a member of the American Marketing Association.   He brings over three decades of advertising sales management and marketing experience having worked in the Philadelphia, San Francisco and Raleigh Durham television markets.  He was the Local Sales Manager for WTVD in the Triangle. Other key positions held include Regional Sales Manager of ABC-TV National Sales Division – San Francisco, Director of Sales for iEntertainment Networks and Regional Account Executive for Univision Television which has provided a strong background in the nuances of Hispanic advertising. Gil is a graduate of Cornell University with a degree in Communication Arts.

Christine Rogers  is a producer and public relations manager for Pivot Point Media. Her recent accomplishments include developing and coordinating a strategic and successful public relations plan for the Autism Society of North Carolina. She has  project managed several social marketing campaigns for the North Carolina Health and Wellness Trust Fund, North Carolina Division of Public Health and the North Carolina Healthy Start Foundation. Christine is responsible for developing creative concepts for television and radio commercials as well as executing public relations and social media strategies. She has expertise in writing, producing, project management, public relations, media relations, and event planning.

Christine is an experienced television producer, reporter, anchor and talk show host. She has received numerous journalism awards, including an Edward R. Murrow for her investigative work.  She was also nominated for an Emmy for her documentary work. Christine received her master’s degree from Duke University.  She received her bachelor’s degree from the Newhouse School of Public Communications at Syracuse University.

Bruce Kennedy provides marketing and planning oversight for Pivot Point Media and manages integrated marketing strategy, brand development, and project planning and management.  Full-time, Bruce heads global marketing and communications for a leading patient safety and quality accreditation organization which partners with medical societies in the implementation of surgical quality programming and standards.  Bruce is also presently an advisor to digital health portals – WebMD and Everyday Health – on issues such as healthcare reform, hospital management, clinical solutions development, hospital support technology, and potential partnerships and acquisitions.

In 2002, Bruce joined Duke University Health System as a marketing strategy consultant and was later recruited as the assistant vice president to oversee health system wide Marketing and Creative Services operations.  Prior to joining Duke, Bruce launched a Research Triangle Park based digital media company after a number of years in the traditional and Internet advertising industries at positions such as account management, marketing strategy to vice president of business development.

 Joe Hakooz has over ten years of experience in web application development, Flash programming, ASP.NET technology solutions, audio/video production, and digital design. He works closely with clients from concept to completion to produce custom interactive applications and web-based content management solutions.Joe has developed many multimedia, web and eLearning applications for clients in the healthcare, pharmaceutical, biotech, education, entertainment, media, and environmental industries. Joe also holds three patents for a therapeutic medical device VTFlex. Joe’s blog Raleigh Flash discusses topics related to Flash, ASP.NET, web application development, and related technologies. 

Ismail Abdelkhalek is one of the leading production professionals in the Southeast serving either as director, shooter, editor and producer depending on the scope of work. Highly organized and creative, Ismail is renown for making sure the ‘aesthetics always serve the message’.

He has been the shooter, plus editor and or field producer for HGTV, TLC Cable Network, Discovery Health, The Documentary Channel and the Food Network. Currently Pivot Point and Ismail are providing the production crews for a documentary on the legendary Carolina Duke Basketball rivalry entitled, Blue Blood Rivalry.
